Rhona Magni’s love of dog training started with her first dog at the age of 14, with a Japanese Akita that had aggression and reactivity issues. This dog inspired her into dog training. After extensive training, she began to compete her Akita in AKC Obedience. The realization that training had empowered her to form a bond with her dog that changed their relationship from troubled to trusting was a powerful motivator to learn more. Rhona has worked with animals in a zoo, including extensive work with wolves. This experience has contributed to her excellent behavioral training. Rhona has been teaching since 2010. Over the years she has trained many different breeds of dogs in obedience and Rally. (Akita, German Shepherds, Border Collies and Papillon.) Rhona uses her foundation in behavioral training as a foundation for great competition dogs. Today, Rhona has Border collies and a Papillon that she trains and competes in AKC Rally, Obedience and Agility. This has included Multiple High in Trials, and High Combined. For the past several years Rhona has competed in various AKC National Competitions, place in the top 10 with multiple dogs in various divisions. Her Accomplishments include:
